On July 2nd my friend and I had a lovely stay at the High Street Inn, a beautiful little Mediterranean Villa with private balconies and a courtyard surrounded by lots of trees that provided nice shade. We had a king size bed which was extremely comfortable, the room was well appointed. The common areas were very comfortable as well. There was a slight hiccup when we arrived which was my fault. I spoke with the owner and we got everything straight in just a few minutes. She was very responsive! I plan on staying here again in the future when we visit more wineries in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Aftonshire Cottage! The cottage was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch with our morning coffee while watching the horses in the pasture—it was so peaceful and relaxing. The location couldn't have been better. It was the perfect home base for exploring the wineries, breweries, and the beautiful Blue Ridge area, yet it was quiet enough to truly unwind. We also appreciated how well equipped the cottage was and how comfortable the king beds were. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in Virginia wine country, we highly recommend Aftonshire Cottage. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

The 200 South Street was absolutely beautiful! Spotless and clean, I felt like we were staying somewhere that Joanna Gaines decorated and designed. Will definitely stay again!

We recently rented Rockfish Ranch for a Thanksgiving family gathering, with family members traveling from all over the country to join, and were extremely disappointed, both in the accommodations and in the service we received from Stay Charlottesville. The property felt better suited to off-site frat parties than a "luxury estate" (verbiage from Stay Charlottesville's website). The property was filthy, poorly stocked, poorly maintained and poorly managed. Heaters didn't work, fans couldn't be turned off, tvs wouldn't turn on, fireplace didn't work. Visibly soiled dishes were mixed in with clean dishes. The kitchens are stocked as if they gathered up a few odds and ends from a rummage sale and dropped them into the kitchen drawers - dirty, disorganized and incomplete for regular cooking, much less cooking for 10 people for Thanksgiving. The cabin smells strongly of mold and had bugs and dirt throughout, including inside of made beds. The assortment of furniture, especially in the cabin and lodge, is a mish mosh of items that doesn't match the photos. We had the *best* 2 day visit in our Stay Charlottesville rental unit. It was the cutest space for the two of us … well appointed, comfortable and in the very quiet & quaint historical Belmont neighborhood. We could easily walk to wonderful restaurants… Tavola for dinner and Belle for breakfast are two examples. We would definitely stay here again. No question. Highly recommend.
